Why Home Inspections are Important

• It’s IMPORTANT – a home is a big investment 
• Home inspectors are a 3rd party – not making a recommendation on whether to buy or not buy a property 
• Home Inspectors should be able to look at/explain components and see why and how everything is aging – looking at the home’s condition (not looking at the items inside the home, but looking at the actual home itself) 
• Purchasing a home should be a business transaction, not an emotional decision – as a home inspector it’s our job to advise them on what they are buying 
• Who has a home inspection?
  • Buyer – to see what they are buying 
  • Sellers – to fast-track the sale of the home and/or to see what may need to be fixed or replaced
